Okay bit of a sticky situation here, I’m 18 and have been having unexplained fevers for the past month with no other symptoms (No clue why, but I have a doctors appointment soon!)
I’m worried because my sister has acquired the H1N1 Flu, and is coming home because she is so sick (she started showing symptoms yesterday.)
What’s the best way to protect myself considering my immune system is already weak and busy fighting something…else… I’m planning on locking myself in my room with a big ol’ HEPA filter, sound like a good idea?
Seriously though, I was thinking about wearing a mask, anything. I wish my mom would object to her coming home.

Wednesday, February 17th, 2010I was at the hospital today for a doctors appointment. I’ve been very sick since Thursday night, my doctor checked me today. She says I have a bad virus and there is a very big possibility I can have the swine flu. My doctor killed the ER, and they also said it’s a big chance. They told me to come across the street (my doctor is in a different building then the ER) but I didn’t go because I wanted to go home and sleep. They told me if my breathing gets worse come asap.
Now at home I’m wearing a mask and staying to myself… but heres the catcher I need to be in school tomorrow for a final I did miss 2 weeks ago because I was at the hospital for an appointment. I really don’t want to do this in summer school I know I shouldn’t go but I’m going to wear a mask. What else should I do for tomorrow to take precautions. The test will only be about 20 mins or so. I need to do it with a group of 3 other people, it’s a french oral. What should I do to take precautions not to get them sick as well. If I do have the virus I don’t want to give it to anyone else.
